From Up On Poppy Hill: Predictable but Enjoyable

“From Up On Poppy Hill” is the Studio Ghibli film written by Hayao Miyazaki and directed by his son Goro. Set in Yokohama in 1963, the film follows Umi as she faces a Japan that is modernizing at the cost of its history. She also falls for a young boy named Shun but something about their past may ruin their future.
