Additions Coming To Xbox Live Gold Games Queue

Ever wanted to dive into I Am Alive? Is The Escapists on your list of games you need to play? If you answered yes to either of those questions then you’re in luck, because both are now accessible without charge with an Xbox Live Gold Membership.

If you have an Xbox 360, I Am Alive hits your consoles starting October 16th. Meanwhile, Xbox One users can download this game too through Xbox Backwards Compatibility, as well as The Escapists. Announced at E3 2015, the backwards compatibility game plan was utilized in hopes of luring Xbox 360 users to switch to the newer Xbox One without losing the ability to play their old games. So far the plan has been rolled out slowly, with newly compatible Xbox 360 titles being added to Xbox One’s slate in waves. Some of those games appear via Xbox’s online service, Xbox Live, adding incentive into purchasing a high-tier package. Backwards compatibility is still an Xbox-exclusive perk among both Xbox and Playstation.

Unfortunately, if you’re a fan of Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: China or MX vs. ATV Reflex, you’ll have to buy those games now since the downloadable period for each title has already expired.

Throughout all of October, you can also catch Super Mega Baseball: Extra Innings for free with Xbox Live Gold. Better get downloading quick as Super Mega Baseball and I Am Alive both disappear from Games with Gold on October 31st, while The Escapists fans have until November 15th.
