Dishonored 2’s First Playable Public Appearance Will Be EGX 2016

Dishonored 2, the sequel to Bethesda and Arkane Studios’ award-winning title Dishonored, is set to make it’s first playable public appearance at this year’s Eurogamer Expo (EGX) in Birmingham, UK.

This is the first time the game will be playable anywhere in the world, and with tickets selling out quickly it’s looking to be the biggest EGX in history. Dishonored 2 lets you play as Empress Emily Kaldwin or the Royal Protector Corvo Attano, through a hand-crafted story full of stealth, revenge and brutal combat (depending on your play style).

David Lilley, EGX’s Managing Director, said:

We’re thrilled that Bethesda has chosen EGX as the venue to bring Dishonored 2 to consumers for the very first time. It’s a further demonstration of the growing importance of EGX on the global stage.

In addition to its playable appearance, Sebastien Mitton (Art Director at Arkane Studios) will be hosting a developer session at EGX on the 22nd September, where he’ll talk about his artistic approach to the highly-anticipated game. Don’t worry if you’re not able to go, as the session will be streamed to the EGX Twitch channel.

EGX will be taking place at the National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham on the 22nd to 25th September 2016. For more information or to buy tickets head on over to the EGX  website.

Dishonored 2 will be released for Xbox One, Playstation 4 and PC worldwide on 11th November.
