Meet The Latest Additions To Pokemon Sun And Moon
Yesterday CoroCoro magazine revealed two new adorable critters coming to Pokemon Sun & Moon: Kiteruguma, a normal/fighting Ghost that can literally put your life in danger by raising one, and Mimikkyu, an adorable Ghost/Fairy that has taken over the Internet by mimicking Pikachu.
On the left we have Kiteruguma which, according to Serebii, has the abilities Fluffy and Klutz, and is “really strong and can break anything in two”. My favourite part is how is likes to hug trainers, but “raising one puts your life in danger”. No pain, no gain! And on the right we have Mimikkyu who, on the other hand, prefers dark places and will cause anyone who removes it’s cloth to become afflicted with an illness! It also has the ability False Colours. The cloth itself, and part of the reason the Internet loves it so much, is said to be a discarded Pikachu fan item (it’s tail is even made from a wooden stick), and that it “wants to be loved by people like Pikachu is”. Well little guy, you’ve certainly wormed your adorable and slightly-creepy way into this writers’ heart!
Mimikkyu has already been dubbed one of the most “amazing and heartwarming additions to the Pokemon family”, and it’s not going to be easy for any Pokemon following this reveal.
In other Pokemon Sun and Moon news, Serebii reported that Amazon and Nintendo of America will be releasing an exclusive double pack of Pokemon Sun and Moon, which comes with a steelbook special case featuring Solgaleo and Lunala, and features two game compartments inside. Pretty neat, huh? Sadly this steelbook edition will only be available in the US and Canada.
Pokemon Sun and Moon is set in the new Alola region and will be released on 18th November 2016. To end this post, let’s take a look at some of Mimikkyu’s heartwarming fan art.
