E3 Catch-Up Trailers!

Some people can’t catch E3 when it happens. It may be because you live under a rock, internet access cut out, work happened, you totaled your car, or some unfortunate series of events that ought to be authored by Lemony Snicket and Murphy.  This compilation is for all of you who, like me, ended up missing the live conference feeds and the hours of sitting in suspense.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 3

What would another year of gaming be without another Call of Duty game? Check out the awesome trailer below for more visual details from the developer.

I’ll also take this opportunity to be completely honest. I have no idea how to play precision FPS games. The closest I’ve gotten to success at FPS games is playing Borderlands as a Psycho. I run up, and I hit things. When playing Halo? I run up and hit things. And I try to run up and hit things as much as as possible in CoD. I cannot pilot a vehicle to save my life, and may every God have mercy on your soul if I, for some reason, happen to be your medic. I am not a credit to any team in FPS games. However, my friends here at Gamenews have some awesome articles about this new CoD game. Here’s a comprehensive article about the game itself, and here’s an article about the consoles the new CoD will be released on. All of you who excel at FPS games have my deepest respect.

Dark Souls 3

What I lack in FPS skill I make up for in hilarious lack-of-skill at every Dark Souls installment. I suck. I beat the first boss and spend five hours trying to get through the normal mobs from the second area. Every single time, this happens, and every single time I play the game until my fingers bleed because I love these games. The method of storytelling and the subtle air of mystery and sadness just tickles my fancy. Check out the awesome trailer below for more information.

I dunno about y’all… but that looked inception and Dear Esther levels of awesome to me. I am pretty intrigued for this game.
