Sony Announces New IP From Guerilla Games, Creators Of Killzone

A new IP from the Guerilla Games, the creators of Killzone, called Horizon: Zero Dawn, was shown at the Sony E3 2015 press conference. The trailer featured cities becoming overgrown by nature, with buildings covered in moss and other foilage. The trailer also established the premise of the story, which is humanity being overrun by the technology we created. Which has led to humanity being forced back to a stone age state, with robots roaming the world and attacking the humans they find.

The trailer and gameplay primarily featured a female main character, with her primary weapon seemingly being a bow and arrow. Though at several points she uses other weapons, such as a grappling hook that tethers a dinosaur style robot to the ground, before finishing it via a spear to the “heart”.

The new title, dubbed Horizon: Zero Dawn, will be releasing on the PlayStation 4 in the near future. The gameplay for Horizon may be found below.
