Rock Band 4 Release Date Revealed, Pre-Orders Open
Rock Band 4’s release date has been announced! And it is coming rather soon: October 6th of this year.
Those who signed up for pre-order notifications should find an email in their inboxes showing that the game will be released soon and that the game is now available for pre-order. Additionally, pre-ordering on Amazon.com gives you 34 extra songs to download as a bonus, 4 of which come exclusive to Amazon’s site. The four exclusive songs are below with music videos:
- Alabama Shakes – “Don’t Wanna Fight”
- Breaking Benjamin – “Failure”
- Death From Above 1979 – “Trainwreck 1979”
- The Pretty Reckless – “Follow Me Down”
But the news doesn’t wrap up there! A new trailer (as seen below) shows a brand new feature coming to the game: freestyle guitar solos! In previous titles, drums were the only instruments to receive any kind of freestyle mode, but they have extended it to guitars now in what looks like an option aside from guitar solos. Maybe we will see this come to bass as well? We are sure to get more details and then some this week when Harmonix reveals more about the game, so stay tuned throughout the week for everything announced this E3! And don’t forget to pre-order Rock Band 4 while you can right here!
