ID Announces SnapMap for Doom
During their E3 press briefing, Bethesda revealed a new map editor dubbed SnapMap. The new editor will allow player to create not only new maps but modes as well. In the demo that was shown, we were given multiple examples involving, a horde mode and something that resembled the popular zombie mode from Call of Duty. The tools themselves seem to allow for some very quick layouts as well as different pallets for aesthetics. The mode will be available on all of the platforms the game will be available for, so cause for celebration is here. The maps will be shareable through a new service called Bethesda.net.
