Public game lobbies where lobby leaders can now list their lobbies to the public allowing anyone in the world to see them and join them if they want. New party options that will allow you to more easily invite friends to parties or see if friends are looking for parties, parties will now also include voice chat in the dashboard instead of just in games, better party management which will let players merge parties instead of having to recreate parties and you can also reassign a new party leader at any time. An improved chat system that will allow you to whisper with friends and also be able to have multiple conversations at once as well as having chat rooms be up to 5000 people at once.

All new dashboard, the dashboard is getting reworked to let players find heroes easier and also be able to quickly browse and try on every set and item available for that hero. If you find something you like there is also links to the Dota store or Steam Market that will allow you to buy that item right away. Demo your hero, you will now also be able to demo a hero by trying out their skills and be able to wear items selected in the loadouts, even if you don’t own the items. Reworked Profiles, profiles are going to be reworked by allowing players to have mini profiles that will show a player’s avatar and allow them to show off their favorite hero or favorite items, as well as a playstyle graph that will show a player’s playstyle across 5 different axes. MMR will also be reworked by showing individual hero MMR relative to a player’s overall MMR.

New ways to watch, the Dota TV is going to be getting new features and will also be powered by Steam Broadcasting. It will be capable of 1080p and 60FPS, while carrying an embedded data feed for stats and graphs. They will also accessible from inside the Dota 2 client as well as on the web. Watch later, you will now be able to click watch later to bookmark matches to watch later in the replay tab.

Learning Dota, there are also going to be Guided Bot Matches for new players that will help them with learning the game, “these tutorials should be fun and educational for any beginning player, and give them a taste of what it’s like to play a full game of Dota.”
