Destiny: The Taken King Leaked
Hot on the coattails of the excellent House of Wolves expansion comes more Destiny news you may be interested in! Late last night, popular site Kotaku, apparently received an extensive marketing sheet from the inner workings of Activision. The sheet has given a huge amount of details regarding what has heavily been rumored as Destiny’s next expansion, The Taken King. According to the document, the expansion is set to feature a new subclass for all three of the games main classes, which will include new elemental super abilities. An arc based storm for the Warlocks, a void bow for the Hunters and a solar hammer for Titans.
As has been the case for each expansion so far, new strikes, new PvP maps will make an appearence as well as a new raid featuring Oryx, Crota’s father, who is seeking revenge for the death of his son. The sheet also outs pricing and a release date for the DLC, $40 and September 15, 2015, respectively. Bungie nor Activision are commenting on the leak but it would not be surprising to hear more at E3.
This is big news if your still regularly play Destiny. Are you still deeply entrenched in the game? Are you excited by what you’ve heard thus far? As should be common place by now, tell us all about it in the comments below!
