Official Resident Evil Zero HD Announcement Trailer

Capcom has released an official announcement trailer for the Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster. With this new trailer we get to see gameplay of the 2002 survival horror game overhauled in high-definition. Along with upgraded visuals, Resident Evil Zero HD will feature widescreen support and improved sound. A modernized control setup will be making its return for those of you who have trouble with traditional Resident Evil “tank controls”. Resident Evil Zero is set before the events of the original Resident Evil and the new trailer will give you a brief rundown on what to expect out of the story.

Capcom has made HD remasters a business priority so the initial announcement of Resident Evil Zero did not come as a huge surprise. It’s a smart move for Capcom to capitalize on the success of their previous Resident Evil remaster earlier this year. Resident Evil Zero was originally available only as a Gamecube exclusive, later being released on the Wii in 2009. This will be the first time it is available outside of Nintendo consoles, so this new HD remaster will put Resident Evil Zero in more homes next year.

We expect Capcom to release more details on this title at E3, so be sure to stick with GameNews for all the latest developments! Resident Evil Zero HD launches in early 2016 for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
