Fallout 4 Won’t Release On Xbox 360 Or PS3
Last week the wishes of many gamers had finally come true: Fallout 4 was announced. The community went insane, social media blew up, and we certainly got excited in our podcast to say the least. Though amidst the excitement there had been a looming question: Is this coming to the Xbox 360 or PlayStation 3?
Well now, we have our answer.
Talking on NeoGAF recently, a higher-up at Bethesda clarificatied that Fallout 4 will only be releasing on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Bethesda global community manager Matt Grandstaff explains that “It is not coming to 360 and PS3, the stuff we’re doing will never work there,” so if you were hoping to play Fallout 4 on your PS3 or Xbox 360, now is the time to upgrade.
This may be good news to some and bad to others. There are still a number of players who have not upgraded to the new-gen consoles and won’t be able to experience this, but this also means there will be minimal setbacks in making this game look as amazing as it did in the trailer (watch it below) when the game launches, which could be later this year!
Bethesda’s E3 conference is less than a week away, and we will be here to cover all of the announcements when they take the stage on June 14th at 7pm Pacific time. We are likely to see a release date, as well as some new game announcements! Until next time, stay tuned for more info!
