Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection Revealed

As we here at GameNews informed late last night, an Uncharted Collection is indeed forthcoming. You can see that piece here. This morning however, we got some real, concrete details on the collection. Via the PlayStation Blog, Sony has released new information regarding the collection. Unsurprisingly it will feature 60 frames per second, and will be presented in 1080p. No word on whether the wonderfully crafted Uncharted multiplayer mode will be making the jump or not but it would be surprising if it was omitted. Unfortunately the collection does not feature an upscaled version of the hit Vita game, Golden Abyss. What it does have however, is exclusive access the Uncharted 4 multiplayer beta! You can pick up the collection on October 7, 2015.

News of the collection began last, when unsubstantiated rumors began appearing around the web. However, until now Sony has been very quiet about the matter.  I for one am very excited to see these rumors come to fruition as I am a huge Uncharted fan.

What is your take on this news? Excited? Ready to dive back into Uncharted’s surpiringly good multiplayer? Let us know down below!
