Dark Souls 3 Rumored for E3

According to an article posted on VG247, the next entry in the Dark Souls franchise could be revealed at E3. The article states that an anonymous source that is “familiar with the matter” has disclosed that Dark Souls 3 not only exists, but will also be shown off at E3.

There are no mentions of what the platforms the game would be coming to, but the source did say that the game would be shown at Sony’s E3 press conference on June 15.

The article also claims that Hidetaka Miyazaki is once again in charge of the team making the game this time around. He was previously actively involved with the first Dark Souls, but took a supervising role for the sequel, with Tomohiro Shibuya and Yui Tanimura in charge of the sequel.

None of this is officially confirmed, but if the rumors pan out, Dark Souls fans have a lot to be excited about come E3. Hopefully we will learn more about the future of the hardcore action RPG franchise in a couple weeks.
