9-Minute Project Mirai DX Trailer Released
A new trailer for Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX, a spinoff of the Project Diva games featuring models based on Nendoroid figures, was released by SEGA today. The 9 minute long trailer showcases all 48 songs in the game through in game footage.
The soundtrack appears to consist of a compilation of songs from the previous two unlocalized titles in the series (Hatsune Miku and Future Stars: Project Mirai & Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai 2) along with a few new songs thrown in the mix, much in the same fashion as Project Diva Extend did for Mirai’s parent series’ PSP games. The soundtrack also features a small overlap with the Project Diva f series, for example songs like Kokoro and Clover Club.
The trailer also showcases the game’s voice switching mechanic, where you can swap multiple Vocaloid’s vocals on certain songs, and shows various Vocaloids preforming in multiple costumes, which is a series staple.
Hatsune Miku: Project Mirai DX was set to release in North America on May 26th and Europe on May 28th for the Nintendo 3DS, but was abruptly delayed until September 8th last week.
