2 more free pieces of DLC coming for The Witcher 3 this week

CD Project Red continues to put out more of its free DLC for the Witcher 3 this week. Last week saw the “Beard’s and Hair Styles” which allows players to control Geralt’s hair style in game and the Temerian Armor set (which I still haven’t been able to find in the game so far) DLC’s as part of their 16 free pieces of DLC to anyone who owns the game across all platforms.

This week we get 2 more pieces of DLC, one of which is more then just cosmetic. The first new DLC has Geralt taking on a contract to find a group of missing miners on the island of Skellige, and the second DLC is a new alternate look for Yennifer. It is unknown what other 12 pieces of DLC will be in the coming weeks but they should be coming weekly.

There are 2 paid expansions that seem to be substantial add-ons with the first slated as of now to be out some time in October called “Hearts of Stone”. CD Projekt Red anticipates this DLC set in the harsh expanse of the Velen “No Man’s Land” to last players around 10 hours.

The second expansion, called Blood and Wine, will arrive sometime in the first quarter of 2016 and will have Geralt going to the new region of Toussaint with an anticipated addition of 20 hours of gameplay.

Both paid DLC can be bought in the season pass available now for $25. With individual pricing said to be $10 for Hearts of Stone and $20 for Blood and Whine though I’m not sure those’s are for sure set prices at this time.
