Ninja Theory announced Hellblade back at Gamescom in August 2014, and after seeing bits and pieces of it since then today they announced on Twitter that they would be showing “gameplay and more” on June 10th.
Hugues Giboire, the art director on Heavenly Sword who left Ninja soon after, returned after a number of the art team left to pursue other work. Not much is known about the game at this point other then it’s an action, Hack and Slash, Single Player, that is coming to be coming to PS4 and PC and is set for release in 2015.
Here is the developer diary video from Ninja Theory released back in October of last year.
This is the Hellbalde trailer from Gamescom 2014.
As a fan of Ninja Theory’s DMC: Devil May Cry I’m pretty interested in what this game could offer and I’ll be keeping my eye out for what ever they show June 10th.
