Yoru no Nai Kuni First Details Unveiled
Tecmo Koei subsidiary Gust’s newest JRPG’s first details and screenshots have emerged from the darkness, and it looks fantastic.
A ton of new screens and art have come out for the Atelier developer’s newest game, Yoru no Nai Kuni, or in English “Country Without Night,” have been revealed. These screens are accompanied by a Japanese release date, the screens and art showing off the dark, Gothic setting and demon slaying action featuring a combo counter and what looks like a move list that seems to be mapped to the D-Pad.
Story points and characters are highlighted, which gives some more insight into what the game is going to be. The story will follow two girls, Anasu and Ryuritsu, who’s world has been infested by demons called Yokoshima.
The gloomy demon killing romp is being headed by Keisuke Kikuchi, of Deception, Fatal Frame, and Trapt fame, so the dark setting comes as no surprise given the pedigree of the helmsman.
Yoru no Nai Kuni is currently being developed for Playstation 4, Playstation 3, and Playstation Vita, and will be launching in the Nippon on August 27, 2015.
While there is no known plans for a western release, but Gust’s recent projects have all been localized, so its not an unrealistic dream.
