Xbox One Owners Can Get the New Madden Before Others

The latest edition of EA’s wildly popular NFL game, Madden, will be available on Xbox One a bit early before its public launch on other home consoles by way of EA Access, a subscribe to play service for EA games exclusive to Xbox One. Most EA Access games come five days early for subscribers to the program, though exactly how early subscribers will get their hands on Madden 16 has not yet been publicly revealed.

This news was revealed by a tweet from Microsoft’s marketing executive Aaron Greenberg which reads: “Hot new @EAMaddenNFL 16 announced, play it early with @EAAccess, only on #XboxOne.” Good news for any Xbox One players itching to get their Madden fix a few days sooner than the rest of the crowd.

Madden 16 will be launching on both current gen and last gen consoles including Xbox One, Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Playstation 4 in August. You can view the fist look “Be the Playmaker” trailer here.
