The Division Slated For Release In Early 2016

The Division, Ubisoft’s highly anticipated Co-op Multiplayer Shooter, has been frequently delayed since its announcement. But, finally the game has been given a release window. In a recent financial report it was revealed that the game is set to release sometime in Q4 of Ubisoft’s fiscal year but it is not releasing in 2015, meaning the game is planned to release between January and March of 2016.

The Division is very ambitious so it’s good to see that it isn’t being pushed to release this Fall alongside Rainbow Six: Siege and Assassin’s Creed: Syndicate. Hopefully, The Division’s previous delays and  extra time in the oven will lead to a game that lives up to the hype while being relatively bug free. It was a very exciting experience when it was revealed at E3 and was a pivotal moment in my decision to make the move to current gen consoles.

The Division will be releasing on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

This was one of the first games to stand out for current gen for me as well. Actually happy to see it get pushed to the first of 2016 as it allows me more time to save up for it.
