Mirror’s Edge Sequel Releasing Early 2016
Fans of first-person parkour video games rejoice, the sequel to the most popular game about free running has a release window. In a recent financial report from EA it was revealed the Mirror’s Edge game that was shown at E3 2014 is set to release in Q4 of this fiscal year. This means that the game is releasing sometime between January 1, 2016 and March 31, 2016, which will mark the end of EA’s fiscal year. Not many details are known about this new Mirror’s Edge product, which seems to be unnamed at the time of this writing.
The EA financial report implies that the new Mirror’s Edge will be releasing on consoles and PC, which consoles it’s releasing on remains to be seen but it’s a safe bet to say the game will be launching on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Whether or not the PC version will release simultaneously with the console versions remains to be seen.
