Conker’s Big Reunion Announced For Project Spark
As it turns out Conker’s Appearance in the Project Spark E3 2014 trailer wasn’t a fluke at all as Conker’s Big Reunion was announced for Project Spark today. The game will be in an episodic format with both Episode 1 and a Conker-themed creation pack coming on April 23, 2015. The story will focus on a washed up Conker attempting to get himself together in order to attend a reunion with his friends at the “Cock N’ Plucker.”
For those not familiar Conker is the star of Conker’s Bad Fur Day, the last game Rare made for the Nintendo 64. Conker’s Bad Fur Day was critically praised for not only it’s tight gameplay but it’s vulgar sense of humor as well, in fact Conker’s Bad Fur Day is considered on of the dirtiest and raunchiest games of all time. After Rare was purchased by Microsoft in 2002, Conker’s Bad Fur Day was remade as Conker: Live and Reloaded in 2005. For some unknown reason however, Conker faded into obscurity alongside other Rare-created IP’s. In the past year however, it looks like Microsoft is starting to dust off old IP’s given that the Battletoads will be appearing in the Xbox One port of Shovel Knight and a Banjo Kazooie Demo appearing at SWSX 2015.
