Square Enix Asks Players What They Really Want
It has become an increasingly popular trend for game developers and publishers to ask for feedback directly from the people who have purchased their games by having them fill out surveys. Just like the questionnaire that Ubisoft used to determined some of the key components of Assassin’s Creed: Rouge and Assassin’s Creed: Unity, Square Enix has revealed that they too hope to learn exactly what their customers want in a future title, while simultaneously promoting their new online store.

The provided survey is extremely in-depth and even inquires about what TV shows and media outlets are most popular among those who take the survey. If this proves to be anything like past surveys, and they really intend for this to help “shape the future” of the company, then players should expect a title that directly reflects the responses that Square Enix receives after all is said and done.
