Xbox One “Halo: The Master Chief Collection” Bundle Announced, Now Available
If you’re a Halo fan who’s been holding out for an Xbox One bundle to catch your eye, your wait just might be over. Announced on Major Nelson’s Blog and already available in Microsoft’s online store, the Xbox One Halo: The Master Chief Collection bundle is official.
The bundle, sold for $349.99, includes an Xbox One console, wireless Xbox One controller, and 2014’s Halo: The Master Chief Collection, a compilation of Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4 all on one disc, as well as a collection of multiplayer maps and modes, valued at $59.99. Essentially, you’ll be getting four free games with a console purchase.
It’s worth noting that this version of the Master Chief Collection is a digital copy, so if you planned on reselling the game you might want to adjust that strategy. The game has also received negative press for lingering online connectivity issues that Microsoft has worked on fixing since last November, but with a new patch recently released, it seems that some of those issues have been taken care of.
Do you plan on picking up the new bundle? If not, what would you like to see in an Xbox One bundle that would get you to take the plunge? Sound off in the comments below!
