Elder Scrolls Online Will Support Character Transfers to the Xbox One and PS4 Versions

ZeniMax Online Studios, the developer of The Elder Scrolls Online, has announced in an update on the Elder Scrolls Online site that it still plans to support character transfers from the PC version to the Xbox One or PlayStation 4 version when the console ports are released in June.

Matt Firor, director for The Elder Scrolls Online, said this about the feature:

“We haven’t forgotten about those of you who have been waiting to transfer your PC or Mac characters to the Xbox One or PlayStation 4. If you bought the PC or Mac version of ESO and activated it before June 30th, 2014, you’re eligible for The Elder Scrolls Online: Tamriel Unlimited with account copy, which will be priced at $20.”

Players who are eligibal will be able to transfer all of their characters to a console of their choosing. Each character will retain their levels and possessions. The feature to transfer will be available before the console ports are released, and players will get an email when it is ready for use.

The update, which gave fans info on ESO Plus and Loyalty Rewards, also revealed the controller layout for the Xbox One version, which is pictured above.
