Battlefield Hardline Premium Is Revealed
EA and Visceral Games have announced Battlefield Hardline Premium, a membership package offering a range of extra features for Battlefield Hardline, which releases on March 17th in the US. The membership will cost $50 for US subscribers.
There are four “super-features” within the membership package. Masks (which contain gameplay benefits), Gun Bench (allowing players to visually customize weapons and track their kills per weapon), Competitive Play (enabling premium-only tournaments and ladders) and Legendary Status (providing replayability of the entire progression system).
In addition to this, members will be able to take advantage of four upcoming DLC expansion packs. Criminal Activity will be the first to release in Summer 2015, focusing on fast-paced, highly-destructible new maps which are littered with small-time crime jobs. Robbery, also releasing in Summer 2015, will progress through key locations with cinematic action. These will be followed by Getaway in late 2015, featuring frantic, high-speed chases, and Betrayal in Early 2016, in which players will need to figure out who to trust when a rat is exposed in an operation.
All members will receive these DLC packs two weeks earlier than regular consumers along with 12 Gold Battlepacks and new personalization options, as well as gaining access to double-XP, in-game missions and exclusive events, and priority position in server queues.
Battlefield Hardline releases for Xbox One, Playstation 4, Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and PC on March 17th in the US and on March 20th in Europe. EA Access members on Xbox One will be able to access a 10 hour trial of the full game, starting on March 12th. All progress will carry over on release, and all multi-player maps will be available.
