Popular F2P MMO Neverwinter comes to the Xbox One on March 31st
The Neverwinter setting of Dungeons & Dragons has always been a favorite among fans, and today Cryptic Studios, known for such games as City of Heroes/Villains, Champions Online and Star Trek Online, have announced that their most recent MMO, Neverwinter, will be coming to the Xbox One on March 31st. The game, which was released for the PC in June 2013, was previously in closed beta for the Xbox One, which ended at the beginning of this month.
When the game goes live it will include the base game, all playable classes, and the first expansion, Tyranny of Dragons. The game will require an Xbox Live Gold subscription in order to play.
Although having had come out on the PC first, footage released so far of the game running on the Xbox One almost makes it seem like this should have been a console game from the beginning.
Here’s a video showcasing some combat.
