Here’s the new Batman: Arkham Knight Trailer
Yesterday afternoon, Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros. Interactive released a brand new trailer for Batman: Arkham Knight. You can see it for yourself below.
Featuring what feels like a roll call of villains lined up to appear in the concluding chapter of Rocksteady’s Arkham series, the trailer is titled ”Gotham is Mine” and features a maniacal voice over from Scarecrow – the game’s antagonist.
Much has been made about this latest trailer, with GameZone even uncovering a hidden code that leads to some secret content on the official website for Arkham Knight.
A follow up to Rocksteady’s last game, Arkham City, Arkham Knight will conclude the story set up in Arkham Asylum and will apparently see Batman at his darkest. Recently, the game received an ESRB rating of ‘M for Mature’ instead of the ‘T for Teen’ that the previous entries in the series received. When asked by IGN about the rating, Sefton Hill, co-founder of Rocksteady and game director said his team were surprised, but were happy with the story:
From our point of view, we never wrote it or made it with a rating in mind. We never did that in the previous two games… We just felt that this is the story that we really wanted to tell.
Batman: Arkham Knight will release for Xbox One, PS4 and PC on June 2nd, 2015.
