Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare’s Multiplayer Free On Steam This Weekend


Steam users who haven’t had a chance to play Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare can do so for free. Starting today (Feb. 19) members of Valve’s digital distribution platform can go to their library and download Advanced Warfare’s multiplayer. The free trial ends on Sunday at 4 p.m. ET.

The Sledgehammer developed title is also on sale. You can purchase Advanced Warfare for $39.59, a 34-percent discount. The Digital Pro Edition is also on sale at a 25-percent discount, making this version $74.99.

Purchasing the Digital Pro Edition will get you the standard game as well as the Season Pass, Atlas Gorge bonus multiplayer map, Atlas Digital Content Pack, two bonus weapons, and advanced arsenal. On Monday at 1 p.m. ET, the standard game will revert to its $59.99 price point, while the Digital Pro Edition will be $99.99.

Advanced Warfare was released on Nov. 4, 2014 on PC, Xbox One, PS4, PS3, and Xbox 360. The game received generally positive reviews from critics. Right here on Leviathyn, the game earned a nine out of ten score.
