The Best Podcast on the Citadel, Ep. 32
Hey-o! The Best Podcast on the Citadel returns with another episode, and the events contained within this podcast are so mind-blowing, so earth-shattering, so….well, I may be overstating it a bit. We’ll get to that. Hosts Blake Anglin and Chris Mrkvicka are joined by fellow Leviathyn writer, and BPOTC alumni, Calum Sim to talk about this week’s biggest news events, what’s we’ve been playing and our weekly top list. This week, Chris has been smashing people at #IDARB (seriously, the man feeds off the rage quitting of others), Calum idly fills his time waiting to give his soul to Majora’s Mask and Blake, rather foolishly it seems, has started a Nightmare run of Dragon Age: Inquisition. He also tries a new Chocolate Ale, and that works out a little better.
This week, the gang discusses an interesting Star Wars leak concerning the upcoming Star Wars: Battlefront. While none of it is confirmed yet, it is a bunch of fun to speculate on some of the potential bombs here, and we do just that. With the recent shocker that Bethesda will set up a show at their first ever E3 conference, we take a look at what that could mean for the company, and what games we may and may not see. Fallout 4 confirmed? Not exactly, but we can all hold out hope anyway. We also take a look at Calum’s article 5 Games That Deserve a TV Show. We break down his (really good) choices, give our thoughts on them and bring up a few choices we would like to see.
This week’s top list involves the greatest in-game conflicts, and there are some good ones. It turns out BioWare knows a thing or two about conflict, as we all chose different examples from the venerable developer for our lists. What else is on our list? You’ll have to listen to find out! Also be sure to follow Blake, Chris and Calum on Twitter, and subscribe to the Best Podcast on the Citadel on iTunes!
