The Best Podcast on the Citadel, Episode 28
After stuffing ourselves on Christmas food and New Year’s alcohol, The Best Podcast on the Citadel returns to rock in 2015 with all the video game analysis and irreverence you can stand. This week, hosts Blake Anglin and Chris Mrkvicka discuss the games they played over the break, something the rest of the Leviathyn staff has done as well. Chris tries out a new title that brings out his rhythm, and Blake admits a grave mistake from last year.
Also on tap this week, the guys talk about the Australian Classification board, and the decision to deny classification to the upcoming Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number, which basically guarantees the game won’t release there as is. What’s troubling about it is that some, including the game’s developer, are insisting that the reasons for the denial don’t even exist. The guys break it all down.
Also, and have a calender ready for this one, Rock Band 3 got a new DLC drop. This comes almost two years after the last pack was released, so who knows what this could mean. Are we looking at a one-time deal for people wanting some new music, or perhaps a testing of the waters for a full-blown renaissance? Probably not the latter, sadly.
Finally, the guys discuss their most anticipated titles for 2015. With so many excellent games on the horizon, what makes the cut? You’ll have to tune in to find out, and it’s all here and more, on the Best Podcast on the Citadel.
