Grand Theft Auto Online Wishes Players Happy Holidays
Grand Theft Auto Online is celebrating the holidays the only way it knows how– with festive costumes, inclement weather, and, of course, high-explosives. In a post on their website, Rockstar revealed that a sleigh-full of holiday weapons, items, and events will be coming to Grand Theft Auto Online.
For the trigger happy, there will be the new homing missile launcher and proximity mines. These weapons will be available at Ammu-Nation stores and will be permanent additions to the game’s arsenal.
Naturally, there will also be a new weather type: snow. Forget what you know about science and join in on the exclusive snowball fight event with your friends.
Don’t worry about getting cold in these freak snowstorms either, because there will be free hats, scarves, sweaters, masks, and more to wear until January 5th.
There will be four new vehicles to purchase as well: the Hot Rod Christmas Ratloader, the Slam Van, and new racing skins for the Massacro and Jester sports cars. Like the weapons, these cars will be permanently available.
The rest of the holiday fun can be found on Rockstar’s website. Grand Theft Auto Online was in the news recently, as the long-awaited heists were revealed for multiplayer. Expect them in early 2015.
