New Halo: The Master Chief Collection Patch Released

343 Industries has announced a new patch for the troubled Halo: The Master Chief Collection that attempts to fix issues such as matchmaking, roster, parties, and stability. The studio also promises that the patch will guarantee that split-screen, local multiplayer friends are always on the same team. Microsoft also stated that players should look forward to having fewer problems when joining or managing parties. The full patch notes are available on 343 Industries’ post. The developer says that future updates will also be on the way that will improve the collection.

Since the four-game collection launched back in November, there have been a plethora of issues; they were so severe that players claimed to have waited for matches for as long as 4 hours. Halo: The Master Chief Collection is just one of the many games with day one issues this Fall, which include Assassin’s Creed Unity and Far Cry 4.
