Capcom Will Be At Playstation Experience
Looks like Capcom is heading to Las Vegas this month for Sony’s Playstation Experience event. The developer has a few upcoming titles to show off, as well as demos, tournaments, and giveaways.
The sequel to the popular handheld Resident Evil Revelations will be headlining, as well as the HD remake of the remake of the original Resident Evil.
Resident Evil Revelations 2 will be released in episodic format, much like Telltale’s games. There will be four digital episodes released weekly that feature series veteran Claire Redfield trapped in a presumably dark and dirty prison island with Moira Burton. Latest news reveals that fan favorite Barry “Jill sandwich” Burton will also be making an appearance. The title will be released in “early 2015” for the Playstation 3 and 4. Attendees will be able to see the first public gameplay at the Playstation Experience.
Gameplay of the HD remaster of the Resident Evil remake (REmake) will also be on display. The game that invented survival-horror will be available for download in “early 2015” also.
Ultra Street Fighter IV will be there as well, with tournaments running both days. Anyone who plays a match will be awarded a free digital copy of the game for the Playstation 3.
The Playstation Experience will be running December 6th and 7th in Las Vegas. Make sure to visit the Capcom booth if any of these titles caught your interest.
