PS Plus Free Games For December Revealed

Another month, another bundle of free games for Playstation Plus users in December. Sony is being extra generous and giving Playstation 3 owners a few more games this holiday season.

For us lowly Playstation 4 owners, we get Injustice: Gods Among Us and the indie shooter Secret Ponchos. These two titles were hinted at earlier this month. Injustice is a fighting game where you can choose your favorite DC comic book superhero and punch other superheroes until they die. It’s a traditional 2-D fighter, but with some gorgeous visuals and interactive stages. Secret Ponchos is a stylized isometric shooter with up to four players and multiple characters and game modes.

Playstation 3 players hit the Hitman jackpot– they receive the Hitman Trilogy, which includes Hitman 2, Hitman: Contracts, and Hitman: Blood Money, all remastered in HD. The Hitman games are most notable for being the stealth series that isn’t Splinter Cell. Additionally, Playstation 3 users also get Deadly Premonition: The Director’s Cut. A re-release of this generation’s definitive cult-classic, it features improved graphics and a complete overhaul of the wonky, dated control scheme.

Finally, for PS Vita users there’s the fast-paced “2 minute tower defense” gameplay of Final Horizon.

All three platforms will also get the retro arcade shoot ’em up Titan Attacks!.
