Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes PC Specs Revealed
The Steam release of Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is less than one month away and Kojima Productions has finally revealed the minimal and recommended specifications for the PC version. The specs were revealed earlier today on Steam.
For those of you who don’t speak computer, the minimal requirements are relatively high requiring an quad-core processor, 4 GB of RAM and at GPU with at least 1 GB of VRAM. The recommended specs are only slightly higher however, the differences being 8 GB of RAM and 2 GB of VRAM. Given that Kojima Productions are going to support 4K resolution in Ground Zeroes, it reasonable to assume that they are targeting higher end PCs and bypassing the scaled-down ports of last-gen versions of the game.
Kojima Productions has yet to announce the install size of the PC version. The PS4 had an install size of 3.9 GB and the Xbox 360 version had a mandatory install of 1.7 GB. Given the specifications, one would assume the game will be much closer to (or more than) the current-gen version of the game. Kojima Productions haven’t confirmed whether or not Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain will have the same required specifications though it will almost certainly have a bigger install size.
Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes will be available on Steam on Dec. 18.
