Updates For Halo: The Master Chief Collection Delayed

Updates for the broken Halo: The Master Chief Collection has been delayed, developer 343 industries has confirmed via the official Forum Team. The content update, which promises to address “matchmaking performance issues, general UI and game stability improvements, as well as fixes for game-game specific issues in Halo: CE, Halo 2, and Halo 2: Anniversary, and more,” was pushed back for a few days to allow for additional fixes and to complete the certification process.

The update was initially supposed to go live on November 19, but it looks as though players will have to wait even longer for their game to function properly. The most reported issues have been associated with matchmaking, as the majority of players can’t find a single online match. Executive Producer Dan Ayoub has said recently server-side adjustments have been made, increasing server connectivity up to 20 percent, but performance is still not where it needs to be.
