Possible Screens From Telltale’s Game Of Thrones Leaked

Eight screenshots from Telltale’s hotly-anticipated Game of Thrones title have been leaked into the wilds of the internet-beyond-the-wall. The now-removed images were originally posted by Twitter account @lifelower, the self-proclaimed “XBLA watchdog” of the Twitterverse. Not quite a messenger raven, but it will do.

The eight screens feature a few familiar faces, including Margaery Tyrell, Cersei Lannister, and her brother Tyrion. The other people pictured may end up being some of the five playable characters from House Forrester. Someone more familiar with the books and TV show might be able to identify the faces. That’s what the internet was invented for, after all.

Telltale has been tight-lipped about this title, releasing details at a slow pace and often via cryptic twitter posts. These screenshots have not been confirmed by Telltale. Game Informer has reached out to them for comment, but there is no official word as of yet.

The screens in question have an undeniably Telltale-esque art style, but it is possible they could have been fabricated by a (talented) artist. We will have to wait for Telltale to address the leak before we can know for sure.

Telltale has confirmed, however, that their take on Game of Thrones will be released in 6 chapters unlike their previous titles. House Forrester has not yet appeared in the tv show, and they are a minor detail in the books so far.

The first season of the game will take place at the end of the TV show’s third season and continue to the start of the fifth season.
