Assassin’s Creed The Americas Collection Announced

Ubisoft has announced that Assassin’s Creed will be getting a new bundle detailing the series foray into the American colonies. The aptly named, Assassin’s Creed: The Americas Collection will include Assassin’s Creed III, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, and Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD. The set date for the release is October 28th, which was the original release date of the upcoming Unity and Rogue until they were pushed back to November 11th which should allow players some time to get caught up on the story just in time.

The collection is set to come out on Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 with no price given at the time nor any details to whether the collection will include the The Tyranny of King Washington downloadable content pack for Assassin’s Creed III or the Freedom Cry downloadable content pack for Black Flag. We will update the information accordingly if new details emerge on both, respectively.

This is somewhat similar to what Ubisoft did with the Ezio Trilogy in 2012 when Assassin’s Creed III was set to come out, so perhaps Ubisoft is trying to wrap up the Americas chapter onward to the dawn of a new set of games for the franchise.
