Rollercoaster Tycoon World Announced
For the first time since 2004, a new Rollercoaster Tycoon title will be coming to your PC.
Titled Rollercoaster Tycoon World, the newest title in the Tycoon series will bring a full experience to your pc. Atari specifically stated that no micro transactions or other game limiting features would be present, leading for a full, old-school Rollercoaster Tycoon experience. This announcement was presumably underlined due to the mobile only, restricted, Rollercoaster Tycoon 4 that released to dismal ratings earlier this year.
Rollercoaster Tycoon World will have players building the theme park of their dreams, while keeping customers happy, managing your park and of course, building roller coasters. However, the newest instalment will allow players to team up with up to four other players to build a massive theme park.
“Many of the new features in RollerCoaster Tycoon World were not possible a few years ago, but we have taken advantage of technological improvements to offer a wildly fun gaming experience that stays true to the storied franchise,” Atari CEO Fred Chesnais said via IGN.
Staying true to the more connected vision that the team has for Rollercoaster Tycoon World, other players parks can be visited and park layouts can be shared online with your friends.
Rollercoaster Tycoon World will be releasing for PC early next year.
