Sony Trademarks ‘A Million Ways to Die’
It has been discovered that Sony Computer Entertainment America has trademarked “A Million Ways to Die,” suggesting the company might be working on, or even releasing soon, a new IP.
The trademark was first discovered on a Neogaf forum, and was filed on August 6. It labels the property as “Downloadable computer game software via a global computer network and wireless devices.”
No other information has been given or discovered, though it might be related to the three teaser videos Sony has been releasing ahead of its Gamescom press conference tomorrow. One of these videos was released today promising to “reinvent horror on the PS4.” With the trademark filed recently, and Sony teasing a new horror game, we just might be playing A Million Ways to Die on the PlayStation 4 in the near future.
Sony will be unveiling this unannounced new IP tomorrow, and we’ll be sure to cover every detail.
