Watch The Dota 2 International Championships on ESPN

In yet another huge step for E-Sports, Dota 2’s “The International” championships will be streaming live on ESPN3 this weekend.

ESPN3 is the online branch of the network, and can be watched from a multitude of platforms including PC, Xbox 360, Apple TV, etc. Viewers can access the coverage at ESPN’s website here.

While the multitude of the live coverage will be streamed online only, a preview of the championship matched will be aired on ESPN2 this Sunday at 930 pm PST. You can watch this on tv, providing you have a cable network.

The preview show will detail the upcoming match, provide highlights from other matches during the weekend, and will feature a guest appearance from Valve’s Gabe Newell.

So far, The International has been an amazing success. The prize pool for Dota 2‘s biggest tournament reached record breaking numbers, and tickets for the live event in Seattle sold out in just a few hours. For those of you looking to watch the tournament this weekend, Valve will be streaming the matches live through their official website, their twitch page, through the Dota 2 game client, or now on ESPN.
