The Last Of Us Passes Seven Million In Sales

Heading up to the release of The Last Of Us Remastered on PS4, today Sony revealed that the original PS3 title has passed the seven million copies sold mark.

Our last update on the game’s sales came in March when Sony revealed that it had sold six million copies, which means that the year old title sold roughly a million copies in just four months! An impressive feat for sure, and reflects the amazingly positive reviews that The Last Of Us received.

What’s more is that the game is getting some new DLC as well! A new Multiplayer DLC is coming later this year and will be cross-buy between the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game. Unfortunately the studio did reiterate its statement that no further single player DLC is planned.

Naughty Dog also provided us with a few more titbits of information about The Last Of Us Remastered, saying that any in-game content already purchased will be compatible on both the PS3 and PS4 versions of the game, and that the option to lock the frame rate at 30 FPS will be included. Also, they are planning to include screenshot tools akin to those released for Infamous: Second Son on day one of the titles release.
