Project CARS Gets Delayed For Wii U
Project CARS is the latest multi-platform title to get a delayed release for the Wii U. While the game is still scheduled for a November release on the PS4, Xbox One, and PC, the Wii U version of Project CARS has been delayed untill 2015.
In a press release today from Eurogamer, Slightly Mad Studios, the developer of Project CARS said:
“We’re committed to delivering an exceptional and unique experience for racing fans on Wii U and for this we kindly ask our devoted and passionate Nintendo fans for a little more time in order to ensure the game delivers on our vision of being the most authentic, beautiful, and technically-advanced racing game on any platform.”
There had been some concern about the development of the Wii U version of the game, as no footage from the platform had ever been shown. Today’s announcement seems to confirm the underlying suspicions that the Wii U version of Project CARS is not going as smoothly as it is on the other platforms.
