Alien: Isolation Is 1080p On Xbox One And PS4

SEGA’s and developer Creative Assembly’s Alien: Isolation will look quite similar on both current-gen systems, with both the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of the game running at a full 1080p resolution.

Creative Assembly’s Gary Napper confirmed the resolution while speaking with Total Xbox. “… When I think about working on the game, it’s almost platform agnostic because I only think about the differences between platforms and the different mechanics we can use, like the light on the PS4 pad and the stuff with Kinect 2.0,” he said.

But, Napper did not reveal the frame rate for either versions, and whether or not the studio will be utilizing any console-specific features. “So I think with frame rate it’s pretty comparable,” Napper said. “There’s no noticeable drop or change in graphics between them. Obviously, there are a lot more options to tweak and scale up on the PC.”

Alien: Isolation will be coming to both Xbox 360 and PS3 as well, but Napper did talk about the resolution or frame rate for both these versions.
