Naughty Dog has released an even prettier version of the Uncharted 4 trailer. Following Sony’s E3 media briefing last week, Naughty Dog posted a 1080p version of the E3 trailer that runs at 60 FPS. The trailer can be viewed on Naughty Dog’s website but you won’t be able to stream it properly without a powerful PC.

According to the post on Naughty Dog’s website, “All footage you see in the trailer was captured completely in engine. That’s Nathan Drake rendered in full 1080p glory using the power of our PS4 engine.”

“We talking 60fps for Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End and as you can see the visual fidelity for our character models will reach new heights. In fact, thanks to the power of the PS4, right now Drake’s Uncharted 4 model is over double the polygons of Joel from The Last of Us PS3.”

The trailer, which was released at the end of Sony’ E3 media briefing, depicts Nathan Drake waking up on a beach while a conversation with Drake and Sully plays over the scene. According to Naughty Dog, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End will feature Nathan Drake returning to the world of thieves in his greatest adventure yet.

Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is scheduled to release for the PS4 in 2015. The game is currently in development and is available for pre-order.

Hah, well, speaking as the unclosed Mac owner here, I won’t be looking at that then. Still, the trailer looks amazing enough already. ND’s the only company I trust to have graphics looking that good. Just wish there was something more obviously great about the story here.
