Yoshi’s Wooly World Knits Up New Details [Updated, Trailer]
Remember that Yarn Yoshi game of old? Nintendo does too, and it has a few tidbits to share with you.
A likeminded spin on the company’s previous Kirby’s Epic Yarn in 2010, the 2D action platformer will be showcased in an entirely 3D dimension in “Yoshi’s Wooly World.” Unlike Mario, the game will feature no time limits and not be constrained to more goal oriented challenges. Players will be free to explore the world and uncover some wooly secrets and go at their leisure.
Characters will further be stuffed like toy animals rather than knitted, but Yoshi can still harness his Yarn abilities, especially with his yarn-like tongue to gobble up enemies.
More than that, you can do it with friends. Yoshi’s Wooly World will allow for local co-op and yoshi can eat up, spit out, and fling any other players’ Yoshi anyway he likes as they explore the world together.
Yoshi’s Wooly World comes out soon in 2015.
