Sony Announces PlayStation Now Beta Launch

During their E3 press conference, Sony announced a PlayStation Now open beta for US and Canadian PlayStation 4 owners starting July 31. PlayStation 3 and Vita systems will have the service available to them shortly after.

A product of Sony’s 2012 acquisition of Gaikai , PlayStartion Now uses a cloud-based streaming service, gamers will be able to instantly stream hundreds of games like Dead Space 3, Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zero,  and God of War: Ascension.  

PlayStation Now has been in private beta since January and recently was expanded to PS4 owners in May. With Sony expanding to an open beta, they will give gamers a chance to experience streaming games & keep fine tuning the product with feedback from users.

No pricing structure has been revealed for the service yet.
