Guerrilla Games Won’t Be At E3
It looks like another one of Sony’s first-party studios won’t be present at E3 next week. Currently, it has been confirmed that Guerrilla Games, the studio behind the Killzone franchise, is working on a new IP that’s an RPG. As part of a Reddit AMA today, senior online producer Samrat Sharma replied to a fan asking if the studio will debut their game during Sony’s conference saying, “No, we won’t be showing it right now.”
“Simple reason: we are confident enough in the game, but it’s not something we can show and expect reasonable feedback,” he added. “There is simply a lot of work that we need to do before we show it to our fans.” A few concept art photos were leaked online a couple of days ago on Vgleaks, and they seem to draw inspiration from both the Killzone series and Bungie’s upcoming game Destiny.
Guerrilla Games joins LittleBigPlanet developer Media Molecule, which also announced yesterday that it won’t be at E3 this year.
