Batman: Arkham Knight Delayed To 2015

Rocksteady’s final chapter in its Batman: Arkham saga, Arkham Knight, is the latest game to succumb to a delay. The news was announced at an event featuring a demo of the game’s Batmobile. The studio did not give out a specific reason for the delay, but revealed the game is now slated for release sometime in 2015.

It was originally planned to come out on October 14 on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. But with the holiday lineup looking more and more crowded every week, perhaps the delay isn’t so bad after all.

The game is still set to contain the series’ usual eccentric and vast array of villains such as Two-Face, Riddler, Penguin, and Harley Quinn. There’ll also be the inclusion of the Arkham Knight, a new villain for both the game series and the comic books.

Arkham Knight joins The Order: 1886, The Division, Mad Max, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt has games all delayed to a 2015 release date. It’s very likely, however, that we’ll see all five games mentioned at E3 next week, where we’ll inevitably learn more about them.
